Move baby, move

Baby girl number three has not figured out where she needs to be at 36 weeks!  Unfortunately she is transverse and stuck there.  I have been trying exercises to get her to move head down but she isn't budging yet.  On Monday we have an ultrasound and appointment to see if we can try and do a version to move her manually.  Online I see conflicting studies that say transverse babies at this stage are harder to turn or to keep turned but I hope she figures it out.  I know c sections are done without issues often, but I would prefer to avoid surgery.

We are getting little projects done and I feel the nesting instinct kicking in.  The snow we have been having is depressing as I would love to get outside but it has been nice to have a few weekend naps where I can get some things done while the girls are sleeping.

She will be here before we know it!  I pray we can have a normal and safe delivery after she moves, but only God knows!

April - 18 months

April is 18 months and talking like crazy!  Of course when I try to video she doesn't do it as much and is more interested in watching what I am doing.  At her dr visit the pediatrician was impressed she is sleeping in her own bed, drinking the right amount of milk, napping well, no pacifier and besides the back to back ear infections last month very healthy!  It was a little challenging moving her to Bethany's room but after a few weeks, and having Bethany sleep in the guest room a few times when we let April cry it out, they are both doing great.  In fact I think they love sharing a room and it is the cutest thing ever to hear them come down together in the morning.  Ok, I do wish they would wait to get up later than 6:30 every morning, but Bethany is such a good big sister helping April and they both seem so happy to be together so much!

April loves to play with her babies and take care of them.  She plays independently very well and also  knows when she should or shouldn't play with Bethany and her toys.  Sometimes she likes to tease Bethany by grabbing something and running away but it is in fun more than wanting to make Bethany mad.

You know your color sippy cups and got upset at daddy when he tried giving you Bethany's color... " no, Ape-ols!" you demanded.

It is so cute when you say "mommy where are you?  There you are!"  Or " thank you- welcome" or " bless you" when someone coughs or sneezes.  You love routine and entering into the conversation.

In the car you say "CD" and "see you" so I put the mirror down so you can see me immediately when you get in the car.

Your 18 month stats:
33 inches - 80th %
22 lbs - 30%
47 cm head - 80%
