Happy half birthday April!

I'm such a good sitter and think sister Bethany is fun to smile at!

April's 6 month stats:

Height: 26 1/2 inches (75%)

Weight: 16 lbs 13 oz (70%)

Head: 43 cm (70%)

We love you so much April and can't believe it was your half birthday last week! Your personality is really started to come through... most of the time you are laid back but sometimes you let your voice be heard - literally! Your teacher calls it singing, but it sounds more like yelling to everyone else :) Usually it starts off innocently enough where you are just trying to talk and maybe get attention, and then slowly you get louder and louder! You are doing so well at sitting up on your own and reach a lot for your toys. On your tummy you do long stretches of time and even move a little ways if you are trying to get to something you want to play with. Textures are still very interesting to you and all things go into your mouth! Besides rice cereal we are starting some veggies and despite the initial shock and shudder of the new taste you keep your little mouth open for more every time. You look like a little bird and your little yelling along with it is quite humerous.

You love Bethany so much and are so entertained by her. We all get smiles but you laugh and laugh at Bethany. You are a people person and if mommy is holding you everything is ok. You can hang out with me walking around and watching Bethany all day I think!
