Halloween and Bethany's 4th birthday

This year Bethany was Rapunzel, April was a sea otter and Natalie was a puppy for Halloween.  We went to the Wayzata boo blast the weekend before Halloween where local stores hand out candy and Byerlys has lunch and other grocery items to give out, it was a fun time!

On Sunday we celebrated Bethany's 4th birthday with family, she got a lot of fun presents including aRapunzel  dress and long hair to play with and bring along when we go to Disney world in February.  I had seen another friend make a cake like the one below so I decided to try and create a really special princess cake for Bethany.  She loved it and it was fun to see both Rapunzel's together :)

At her 4 year dr apt the pediatrician was so impressed that she hasn't been seen since her 3 year well visit!  She is one healthy kid!  The dr asked where she sleeps and Bethany explained that she shares a room with April but they each have their own beds because otherwise April might cough on her and get her sick.  Then she added that " we must not have a very big house because mommy and daddy have to share a bed" the dr tried to hide her smile as she listened to Bethany.  Oh Bethany, we love you so much and think you are so smart and funny when you come up with these things!

She is growing up and is already 42.5 inches tall and 38 lbs.  Pretty soon you will graduate to a booster seat!

I am so excited to continue to see you grow into the sweet little girl that you are, Bethany.  At night I think about all the cute and funny things you say.  I can't imagine life without you!!

Bethany's 4th birthday party with friends from Koala Bear

We had so much fun having a joint birthday party with Bethany and her friend Riley from Koala Bear.  They both turn 4 in October and so we invited their friends for some fun in the McDonalds play place.  Besides wishing we had brought ear plugs, it was a great time!! :)

Natalie is 4 months and April is 2!

My baby is getting so big!  She is rolling around from front to back and back to front a lot now and when propped just right can sit for a few moments unsupported.  She loves to laugh at Bethany, more than any of the rest of us which is really cute.  Bethany is so good with her so it is sweet Natalie rewards her with belly laughs!

At her 4 month appointment Natalie gave big smiles to the Dr and nurses.  I told them about how she is my most sensitive baby who normally gives many smiles but still startles easily and cries at new people or noises when she isn't quite sure of her surroundings.  Very normal, but i can already see glimpses of her personality shining in.  She is on track developmentally and is in the 96% for height at 26 in and 66% for height at 14 lbs 14.5 oz.  Her bottom two teeth coming in have led to a few tough nights for sleeping for mommy so we hope for easier nights ahead :)

April turned 2 on September 22nd and we celebrated with family after Natalie's dedication at church.  She is my sweet blonde chubby cheek little girl and I love her personality!  Having Bethany as an older sister she doesn't always get to talk but she is speaking in full sentences and has many cute sayings.. "Window high 5", "cracker me", "Nawwawee smiles at me!", "good morning mommy!"  She loves Bethany and when she isn't around always wonders where she is "where Bet-an-ne go?"  She is in the 80% for height at 35 in, 37% for weight at 24 lbs for a total BMI of 1.7%.  My tall girl!  I love you sweetie and can't wait to see what this next year has in store for us!

Spirit of the Lakes Parade - Princess Bethany!

Bethany was selected to be the princess from her preschool at the Sprit of the Lakes Festival today!  The Springers are here (except daddy Paul) and got to see Bethany and my parents came too and took pictures.  It was a great day and Bethany was so excited to be a princess!
