So, a mid-week update even though we haven't been out to the lake: the whole cabin is painted! Our builder has been talking with us about every other day and today the news is that everything is painted and all the doors are hung. He's now focused on putting on all the trim around the doors, windows and baseboards where there will be carpet. Then when Dan and I do the hardwood flooring with Dan's parents this weekend he'll finish the baseboards early next week. I'm just amazed that things are moving this fast! We've been expecting to have little to no progress and now big changes are happening daily.
